In October I was lucky enough to get away to the United States for two weeks.
In that time I spent 6 nights in New York, staying at AKA Times Square apartments.
I saw most of the main tourist sights but also some different places where most people don’t visit. I went on a tour of the United Nations Headquarters which was really interesting and had afternoon tea at the famous Russian Tea rooms where the interior was beautifully decorated.
I then made my way by train down to Washington DC and spent 3 nights there. The train ride was great and I saw the best Autumn colours from the carriage that I have ever seen. I loved Washington and i could have stayed longer there.

I then flew back to LA to have 2 nights in Hollywood and stayed at the legendary Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel. In that time I did a celebrity homes tour and spent my last day at Universal Studios which was great. I was even lucky enough to see a movie premier at the Chinese Theatre and see some famous stars on the red carpet like George Clooney and Sandra Bullock!
I thoroughly enjoyed my trip and would like to go back and explore more of the East Coast of America.
