India is a magical place that surprised and delighted me in ways I never thought possible. For 7 days, I was able to explore the wonders of Delhi, Agra, Ranthambore National Park, as well as venturing to Jaipur and Varanasi for an action-packed week.
“I would go back to Varanasi in a heartbeat as it was so moving and spiritual, and whilst in Jaipur I had a lovely surprise whilst shopping when I turned around to see a cow walking into the shop who was trying to get past me!”
Getting off the beaten track, I loved visiting the Ranthambore National Park – home to the elusive Bengal Tigers which we were lucky enough to track down and see!
One of the highlights of India is definitely the food. If there was one must visit restaurant that I would recommend in Delhi, it would be to dine in for a buffet lunch at THREESIXTY at The Oberoi Hotel.
I would go back to Varanasi in a heartbeat as it was so moving and spiritual, and whilst in Jaipur I had a lovely surprise whilst shopping when I turned around to see a cow walking into the shop who was trying to get past me!
Best Moment…
If there was one moment that completely took my breath away it would be seeing the Taj Mahal in real life. The beauty, the opulence and the history behind it is awe-inspiring.
