They say Canadian’s are some of the friendliest people in the world and the sentiment couldn’t be more true. After spending 12 nights on a magical trip exploring Vancouver, Kamloops, Banff, Lake Louise, Sun Peaks, Whistler and Victoria – Canada has to be one of the most easiest and enjoyable places to travel.
“Canada is a food lover’s delight with plenty of modern, exciting and fresh cuisine. You must try the famous Ice Wine, experience the tradition of having Smores around the campfire and baked salmon too.”
Seeing the natural beauty that Canada has to offer, not to mention the stunning lakes, mountains, wild life, trendy cities, iconic hotels, hiking and skiing certainly did not disappoint. There really is something for everyone here!
What surprised me the most on this trip was how much I loved Victoria. The Butchart Gardens were a major highlight for me and completely blew my mind with its beauty, size and the story behind it. Other highlights included The Harley Davidson Motorcycle Sidecar Tour in Jasper which was loads of fun and the breathtaking views along the way were just spectacular. It was here that I also witnessed a special performance by the First Nations people which was really moving.

If I could re-visit anywhere in Canada it would definitely be anywhere in the Rockies. Having seen it in all its beauty in the Winter time, I would love to visit in early June to do some walks and see the beautiful colour of the lakes and even catch some bears coming out from hibernation.
Best Moment…
Taking a Helicopter ride over the Rocky Mountains was spectacular! I will never forget the glorious views and snow-capped mountains with the water slowly starting to melt and form the beautiful rivers and lakes.
My Top Tips for Anyone Thinking of Holidaying Here…
Make sure you spend enough time over here to make the most of all the sights
Do go to the effort to get to Victoria and visit the Butchart Gardens
Any chance you get to take a gondola or cable car in the Rockies, do it – the views will never disappoint!
